Mannings was appointed main contractor by the Western Health and Social Care Trust to carry out refurbishment and fit-out works on the shell development project at Omagh Hospital Primary Care Complex.
The project involved creation of clinical facilities, consultation and interview rooms, new storage facilities and circulation space, and works were completed within an operational hospital environment.
The project scope included: installation of new partitions and firewalls; new services Installations; new mechanical and electrical services installations including ventilation system, CCTV and Nurse call system; new joinery including fire doors, doors and all finishing works; new ceilings, floors and decorations.
The Mannings team liaised with stake holders including Western Trust Project Manager and the Client’s Principal Designer throughout the duration of the project to ensure all risks were managed effectively.
The project was completed under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction form of Contract and the Mannings team were responsible for planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating the entire construction phase, including managing health and safety risks to everyone affected by the work including members of the public.
