Decathlon, Clerys Quarter
Mannings Group has been appointed main fitout contractor on the new Decathlon store in the historic Clerys Quarter in Dublin 1.
This is the third collaboration between Decathlon and Mannings and follows the successful delivery of the new-build Decathlon head office and flagship store in Ballymun in 2020 and refurbishment and fitout of a new store in Limerick in 2023.
Mannings Group is proud to announce its appointment as the main fitout contractor for the new Decathlon store at the former Clerys building on O’Connell Street, Dublin.
Colm Delamere, Managing Director of Mannings Group, expressed his delight at the opportunity, stating, “We are thrilled to be working with Decathlon again following our previous delivery of the flagship Decathlon store and head office in Ballymun and our recent completion of a new store in Limerick.”
The new premises, set to open in Q2 2024, will span 30,000 square feet and serve as Decathlon’s flagship city centre store.
Decathlon’s presence in Clerys Quarter will undoubtedly enhance the area’s appeal as a shopping destination and the expansion will create over 50 new job opportunities to the local community across various sectors.
